ENTRY LIST HELP..WIP

Entry List is divided into Classes and ordered by Status then Hull number

The background colours are to assist with seeing   warnings   ,   errors     or   status   .

To add entries you can either:

  1. Add a BLANK Entry - you will need to complete all fields and save
  2. COPY an existing entry and then amend Names - useful for one design or where entry data is common to many boats
  3. Add from this ARBR Event entry list - If the event registration is being handled via ARBR system then can simple add those entries direct from the registration list. - see further detals on this and autoupdating later.
  4. Add from the list  of ALL ARBR Events   (that you host) so that you can import boat data from one of your other events - useful for club annual regattas and repeated events with sililar entries.

With all of these methods you can amend any of the data once an entry is visible but remember to save an entry before changing another row.

DELETING...
If you delete an entry then all entry, scoring and associated data will be lost forever, so you can only delete if... there are no scores nor ranking for that entry, the status is X-DELETE..

ENTRY ROWS explained

Entries require class, Hull number, TCR minimum.
Active entries will be scored and displayed, Hidden will be scored but not displayed and Retired will not be scored.

CLASS = This should be one of the classes listed at the top
HULL = This should be a unique number for the boat - you can use sail numbers if required - uniqueness to the event will be checked each save.
DO NOT CHANGE HULL OR CLASS AFTER RACES HAVE STARTED otherwise scoring data will be lost

ALIAS.= allows you to have the same boat in 2 or more classes - you have to have the same boat in each class it is to be scored, but any race times for the master will be copied to the aliases so that you can for example, have a class of just TP52s racing within a larger class of racing boats giving 2 class results for the same race/series
